Winter Blossoms

Living in northern Minnesota, you never know what our weather will bring. We've enjoyed a beautiful spring. Temperatures were in the 70s (Fahrenheit) in March. Lakes were open and snow was completely gone by April.

Until today.

Yes, it is May 7th. It has been snowing all day. As disheartening as it may be, the white blanket covering the ground creates a beautiful canvas on which the flowers' vibrant colors pop. I may not be too crazy about seeing snow in May, but at least we know it won't last long. Here's a glimpse of the beauty surrounding us on this frosty, wintry, unpredictable northern Minnesota spring day.
