Probably one of my favorite places on earth (and one of the most beautiful, I might add) is Alaska. Last summer I spent nearly 7 weeks in Wrangell, Alaska, visiting my grandma and aunt and uncle (to see many more pictures and read the complete account of my journey, click here). What an amazing, wonderful, picture-crazy summer! Here are a few of the highlights, and I'm quite sure you'll agree with me about the beauty of this corner of the world
This is downtown Wrangell. Great little shops, which I frequented frequently. Is it grammatically correct to say that?

LeConte Glacier... there are few words to describe this awesome place. You have to experience it for yourself.

Petroglyph Beach is one of my favorite places on Wrangell Island. It's the perfect place to find ancient carvings in stone...
mysterious abandoned ships...
millions of seashells...
and breath-taking sunsets.

A fisherman's dream!
The mountains are absolutely gorgeous!

a once in a lifetime experience.

McCarthy Beach State Park is definitely another of my favorite vacation spots. We've been camping here for years and it's one of the best things about summer. And what's not to love? Shallow sandy beach, towering pine trees, beautiful lakes, showers, and... delicious ice cream cones at the gas station!! The best part of camping? Spending time with family, of course! There you have it. Two of my favorite places in the world. How about you? What is your favorite vacation spot? I'd love to read about it. Go to Kelly's blog to read about other fabulous places on this beautiful Earth God created for us to enjoy!
